Jammy Custard offers digital animation production to SME’s, major brands and the arts. Their most popular output includes explainer videos, commercials, training videos and music videos.
The partnership with Business News Wales will include the sponsorship of the website’s Creative section, and an exclusive interview with founders Matthew Creed and Patrick Hathaway will be coming soon.
Jammy Custard will use the Business News Wales network to promote client projects and bring a variety of insightful video content to the site’s creative category.
Co-founder and Accounts Director Patrick Hathaway is excited by the opportunities the partnership brings:
“Having the ability to promote our client’s animation projects through Business News Wales’ excellent network means we can add even more value for our customers. We will offer a complementary strategy and release service where all parties can benefit from talking about the project. We can also provide access to the Business News Wales editorial team as required so the client can build on a PR strategy further still.
We want to offer this service because animation is such an exciting way to promote your business or product. A public relations exercise based on the animation production and your campaign is an excellent signal to your target audience of how much you’re investing in your brand.”
Patrick Hathaway worked as a Public Relations Executive for Sainsbury’s supermarkets before starting the studio with creative director, Matthew Creed.
The company is working to expand its capacity to take on larger scale productions and TV work during 2018.
Patrick concluded that 2018 is an excellent opportunity for the company to make its mark.
“Jammy Custard is already set to have a big year. We’ve surpassed last year’s record sales and profit in a little over half a year. It’s been amazing. We want to be one of the most recognised and enjoyable brands to follow in Wales’ creative sector. For now, we are fast becoming one of the go-to companies for business-based animations in Wales. This partnership will help cement that.”
Mark Powney, Managing Director of Business News Wales, is equally as thrilled to work with Jammy Custard on this campaign. Promoting the benefits of investing in video animation, he says:
“It’s no secret that the use of video in content marketing is on the rise. But, what is not certain is where this area of the market will end up in 2019/20. To start exploring the possibilities within the digital animation space is core for the development of Business News Wales. Since day 1 we have always strived to be ahead of the curve and it’s fantastic to be developing our video vision with another Welsh Media business in Jammy Custard who share our ambition.”
